Vital Statistics
Birthday: May 11
Hails From: Calgary, Alberta, Canda
Marital Status: Married to Maria
Kids: Jara, 5, and Reign, 3
On the Name Roark: "it comes from Any Rand's The Foutainhead. Growing up, my parents let me use my middle name, Grant. I think they figured Roark was prime for Roark, the dork, pork, snork; it would have been a bloodbath."
Digest: What took you so long to get a story?
Critchlow: I screen-tested with Lisa Rinna (Ex-Billie) when I got here, but after I got the job, she didn't re-sign. The show was left with nowhere to put me for a while. And I have to say, I'm not a big whiner; I never asked for more.
Digest: HOw did you stay so patient?
Critchlow: I"m a nice guy. I always thought that the work would speak for itself. I met Brad Maule [Tony, GENERAL HOSPITAL] a month ago and he said he waited 5 years to lip-lock with someone. That's the way the game is played, but its working out for me, I must say.
Digest: What do you like best about the Mike and Carrie story?
Critchlow: It's nice to paly feelings different from concern over someone on the operating table.
Digest: What has been the fans' reaction?
Critchlow: Well, Robin at the guard desk said, "Hey, Muffy one morning when I walked in. And I'm like, "Muffy? What's up with that?" And she told me that they calle me Stuff Muffin on the Internet.
Meet Jensen Ackles
He's missed out on sister Sami's shenanigans for five years, but Eric Brady has finally come home. Here's a quick look at the newest addition to the Brady bunch.

Digest: Was it hard to move away from home?
Ackles: I was a little homesick at first. I knew that coming to California was not going to be easy, but I was in the right place att he right timea nd got to wkr right off the bad. People kept telling me this does not happen.
Digest: Did you know anything about the soaps before you got on DAYS?
Ackles: My mom watched ALL MY CHILDREN when I was growing up and she still does. She's mad at me because she has to watch two now. All the girls back home always talked about DAYS. I thought it would be cool to work on this show.
Digest: What did you do after you got the part?
Ackles: I had a month off before I started working, so I went home and whopped it up back there.
Digest: Are you a Dallas Cowboys fan?
Ackles: I used to be, but after all the allegations [against the players], I was like, Cowboys who? But I am a big football fan.
In Brief...Who on your show would you want to work with more?
Austin Peck (Austin)
"I would love to work with Stefano. It would be a challenge because he is the big bad guy and I think to work with Joe must be fun."
Joseph Mascolo (Stefano)
"I've worked with everyone at some time, but I would like to work more with the Lexie and Celeste Story."
Alison Sweeney (Sami)
"I'd love to work with Louise Sorel (Vivian) and Ivan G'Vera (Ivan). They crack me up. And Eileen Davidson (Kristen/Susan/Mary) always swaps stories on how to be evil. What works, what doesn't, using a hypnotic mirror...."
