Jensen said he put his arm across her torso, not her throat. listen again, carefully. no slapping, no hitting or punching and not to her throat, just a blocking movement to ward of her kiss.

it's not about it being popular, it's about it having two extremely attractive male leads with ridiculous amoounts of drama and tension. Dean's actor used to play in soaps I believe. He hasn't had to change much.

I know he has a name, but it is of zero consequence to my life and thus I haven't bothered to remember it. I'll forget it again. Don't act like he's going to get offended that someone who doesn't know him doesn't know his name. From what little I've seen he does seem very talented for a tv actor, though he's often overrated. Any differences between his characters are irrelevant to my point. New character, same style, to a degree.

a girl jumped on him. put her legs around his waist and grabbed his head. went in for a very violent kiss. but didn't get that far, because self-defense kicked in and he put his arm against her throat. and he felt bad about it afterwards. i think the story goes further, that two bodyguard were needed to pull her of him :-)

to block her from kissing him.) He did not hit her. And I believe it took two bodyguards

to get her off of him...I hope his back wasn't hurt, it very possibably could if it happened

suddenly enough. so he didn't put his forearm on her throat or hit her...he only did an

upper body block. Thankfully he is athletic and strong, because both of them could of

got hurt if they fell down from the impact.

As far as I can say:Yes, the nicest guy-during the foto session, at the autographs, during the talks and at the cocktail party-he was tired, jetlagged and still remained composed and kind-real gentleman!

Aw, that's so sweet of him! If I were him, I'd be scared as hell of the fans when some of them act like that idjet he's talking about in the clip. But it's good that it didn't scare him off for good. I'd like to meet him in person one day. Though I would probably look at my shoes, mumbling something stupid. *lol*

I don't think she was jumping 'Dean' ...It's sad because behaviour like this has made them so wary of close contact with fans...some take advantage and a simple arm around shoulder becomes this intrusive squeeze him encounter...Fortunately Misha wasn't as cautious and hence all the fan fotos with him has him putting his arm around you: sweet!

I think he was very reluctant to attend fan meets for a while after...even though he makes light of it now, I do think it was the start of a different approach to the fans..bodyguards-no touch rule etc. She really spoilt it for us normal respectful fans!

I love the way he breaks into a grin remembering how he dealt with it...and still somewhat apologetic 'cause these guys are such gentlemen, it would take something this extreme to make them react this way.

Agree, though in their minds he ( J or J) isn't a stranger, so jumping or grab/hugging is okay in their world...it's one of those dangers with TV and making a person so familiar...that's why I usually say "I love Dean" but would never claim that same sentiment for Jensen...I don't really know him! It was interesting when Jensen commented on his beard as a way of distancing himself from 'Dean'

yeah, it's hard when you are respectful and others just flaunt it and make a grab at the guys. Just before my foto with Jared he had been grabbed and we were all again reminded by the staff about the no touch rules. It made me feel uncomfortable that Jared had been put out like that. Fortunately at my turn he was lovely and engaging and leaning right into me when I stood a bit to his side for the foto.

i probably would have been too shy to approach him. He's just to gorgeous. I would really want to thank him for all his hard work and tell him how much the show really means to me. o and i would want his autograph of course. but i would never have the guts to approach him much less jump him.

Having stood next to him chatting,be reassured he is the nicest guy and trust me you would find it easy to talk to him...and I know he would appreciate your love of the show and what it means to him( many fans stated exactly these thoughts to him!)

Both lads are very cautious now about close contact to fans with 'no touch' rules during fotos. Some fans still have a grab and it just messes it up for the others. My suggestion is just prior the foto have something to talk to them about-maybe a small gift/token..it breaks the rythym of just pushing thru the fans for fotos and you get J or J attention for a few moments.A friend had her fav. football cap for the foto which lead to an animated discussion about footy with Jensen...
