In the new Supernatural Companion, season 4 edition, Genevieve Cortese, who is now married to Jared Padalecki and played the demon Ruby, says she is 5',4" tall, and that Jared is "Thirteen inches" taller than she. That puts him at the aforementioned 6',5" tall. Jared would be motivated to lie about his height, because of the industry bias against very tall actors. A good friend of mine from Iceland was six feet, eight inches tall, and I noticed that Jared comes about an inch or so below where Kjartan's head did on an average residential doorway. I'm guessing Jared is still young enough to be growing, and is actually about six feet, seven inches in the late 5th seasin episodes of Supernatural. I mean, the guy is staggeringly tall in person, and again, 6'-4" is the industry cutoff, so even he would not tell the truth if asked directly about his height.
