Well this is turning into a war - so I'll just say that MY opinion is that Jared was off-hand and rude. It is his decision and his right to say no to a photo, but I'll repeat the WAY HE DID IT wasn't very nice. This is not Jared acting like Jared, and I am sad to see him being this way. I'm not just basing this on one video where he was 'tired' (as were the others I bet), but a lot of things I've seen and heard and just his general manner lately. I'm done now, can do without fandom wars!

I don't have a problem with the girls asking the guys for a photo cause the guys have an option of saying no. What I do have a problem with is someone just hugging a complete stranger without asking them first. Would you walk up to a stranger and just hug them? Probably not! I also don't have a problem with Jared saying no to a photo with a fan. After a long flight/day, missing his wife and newborn son and looking extremely tired like he did there I can't blame him for saying no. I would too!!

Don't forget #SPNFANDOM celebs are NOTHING without US! We DO way MORE for THEM than they do for US! Remember that's how THEY became #MILLIONAIRS.... The same way THEY feel entitled to gain support from US, it's the same way WE feel entitled to have them give us a little of their time, if only in passing. This girl is a fan. She has invested money and time like ALL of us in this show and the characters. What if WE say like Jared "Um I don't think so" The show and these guys would be nothing.

Jared's a great person, what do u know. When I asked him for a hug he hugged me right away but he HAS the right to say no. We give him and the other actors support and they give us back good ACTING in a show we love, they don't belong to us! They're all nice people, Jay's so kind! 1 time Jared says no and he's a bad man. Next I hear, they have to sleep with us becuase we watch SPN. That been said, I'm sorry for the fan and I understand her but YOU just told a lot of bullshit.

Thanks - I know people want to defend the guys, but why don't they realise this girl was totally overwhelmed, and that might be the reason she acted a little irrationally!? People just don't see grey areas do they? It's all black or white!

How would yo feel if you were surrounded by hundreds of fans every day and EVERYONE of them lunged themselves at you constantly? You would begin to feel claustrophobic and suffocated eventually, there comes a time when you would HAVE to refuse constant requests. It's a human reaction. Celebs aren't robots.

This actually reminded me of the Flying Fangirl incident. When it comes to Jensen, if you're planning on invading his personal space, you should ALWAYS ask first. Because he's just not comfortable with that. Now Jared, funnily enough, hugs people more freely. But that doesn't mean he HAS to hug everyone who asks. Maybe he was in a hurry, tired, jet lagged, had a headache... Hell, maybe he was just sweaty and all he wanted was a shower. Idk. But whatever the reason, he's allowed to say no.

If you want them to continue to respect the fans, then we need to continue to respect them and stop acting like spoiled brats! They are STILL human beings, regardless if they're TV stars, movie stars, rock stars, whatever. We're all people. We're all the same. I totally agree with you, Kristal. I met them last year at ChiCon and I never acted this way at all. I was very polite to Jared when I had my photo op with him and I kindly asked him for a hug for my photo op. I didn't just launch myself onto him even though I was thrilled and my heart was racing from getting to meet him. I was also very polite to Jensen as well and he even struck up a small conversation with me during autographs if that tells you anything at all. Respect, people! Learn it.

That is totally what it comes down to, respect, and whether this fan meant to or not, she showed zero respect. I've met the guys on several occasions. They are friendly and warm and incredibly gracious and in response I am polite and never assume anything. They are human beings. Some fans forget that. I understand the excitement but we're not entitled to photos with them on the street, we're not entitled to hugs. If they're bailed up like this, they've every right to say no in any way they want.

It's one thing to casually run into them in the streets - we all know we would take a picture if something like that happened; it's another thing if you stalk them a/o run into them on purpose.
And there are ways and times to ask for a photo. This wasn't one of them.

We all know you don't like Jared Vicky. So anything he does is wrong. He was not rude, dismissive perhaps but not rude. The girl was rude to launch herself at Jensen. If you pay attention the other guys looked like they were trying to get away from her as fast as possible.

I never jumped them or anything.I paid 80 euros for a photo with Jared and the same for Jensen, I asked Jay for a hug and I got it (the rule there was:NO hugs) and knowing Jensen was shy and he wasn't like Jay about personal space, I asked him for the blue still even if I would've wanted a hug. I'm just saying, nobody's jealous but you clearly have to realize that they're not objects, they're human beings and we don't own them. The fact that we support them is because we love what they're doing.

Gotta admit I'm really disappointed in Jared and the way he responded to this fan. He was very dismissive, unfriendly and cold. Good for Jensen and Sebastian who took the time for their fans, even though they were tired and seemed surprised.... Jensen is my favorite out of the J2 anyway.

There was a report the next day of a fan who met Jared on the plane and she had a nice conversation with him and got a photo. Lets see you go all weekend with having to have photos taken with people and autographs. Then afterwards go to the hotel where you'd probably like to take a breather and see how you'd act. Sorry the girls were stalking the hotel not cool. Then she launched herself at Jensen again not cool. He acted a lot better than I would have.

I'm not trying to be rude but wouldn't it have been more considerate to ask for a hug instead of launching yourself at him? I don't think Jared was being rude either, they all seem like they're in a hurry. Like everyone else said they're all human and they just spent a whole weekend taking photos and doing autographs for the fans. They deserve a break and to not be treated like that.. Just my opinion.

I hate this video. Jensen looks so awkward and that hug was a bloody lunge. Totally inappropriate. He's a human being give his personal space some consideration & Jared looks even more awkward. Poor bastard. I hate that they're put on the spot like that. Those girls are standing outside the van stalking Yuck. Get some pride. If people are bagging out Jared for this, then they are not fans and have no real love for him, just for their selfish wants. I really hate this video. I'm ashamed of them.

I was at the con, and I saw a lot of inappropriate behaviours. Poor guys just have to be there like puppets and smile at the camera while trying to not scream. Because no one treats them as persons. They think they own them.

And Jared is usually such a happy guy, being away from his new family and the jet lag was probably all a little crazy! He was polite about refusing the photo and carried on. As it mentioned by others, these guys have no obligation to take photos with anyone, and were probably just tired and groggy from flights!

Cons are starting to put the actors at different hotels when in the past, the actors stayed in the same hotel (Jim Beaver mentioned it on his Twitter - after saying he was bummed about not staying at the Hilton because he missed hanging out, and then he spent an entire day after the con seeing the sites with "the Russian table" - and posted pics of said adventuring).

This is embarrassing behaviour for all us fans - they must have all been really tired, they'd put heart and soul into the convention and then to get accosted trying to get into their hotel like this is really not good. Giving them a wave and a hello would have been ok, but to rush in and hug them and get photos? That was just too much. And you can see how uncomfortable Jensen was, no wonder Jared said no.

It looks like Sebastian Roche is running interference so the rest of the guys can run past and get into the building - kudos to him for being more respectful than you and yours were to him and the cast. Please, people, use some common sense and know when it is appropriate to approach someone in the entertainment industry whose work you admire - as well as *how* to approach them in a way that does not trigger memories of the Flying Fangirl incident.

Poor guys. Ambushed outside of their hotel. I think Jensen was pretty nice about it, even though he was obviously off guard and uncomfortable - and Jared was perfectly polite, even if he did say no. He has every right to, celebs have no obligation to drop everything and hug us and talk to us whenever we want. How would you feel if you were getting in from travelling and someone found you outside of your hotel, stuck a camera in your face and demanded pictures and a hug?

Oh and by the way, I've read a fan report from this convention where she was told not to hug Jared, but Jared didn't listen and hugged her. So it's not about him being a bad guy. He's a vey genuine and sweet guy. Just - everyone can't be at the top of their game at all times.

I think it's unfair to certain people get mad at him for that stupid reason and if I were in his place and I was tired, I'm sorry but I would not take picture too. Well, what matters is that you're a lucky girl to have a pic with Jensen, I'm Jealous *-* lol. But next time try not hug him without asking permission first because Jensen or nobody likes to get hugs unexpected from strangers and I'm not criticizing in any way, I'm just giving you some advice

I don't think it's weird Jared said no. People pay a lot for the photo ops at convention. Some of them might feel it's not right to take photos with the fans outside. I know at some conventions they don't allow it. BUT regarding the vid. You got guts lol. I would be way too shy to go over to them. It's a wonder I survived the cons I've been to heh

Also, considering how much money people pay to get photo ops done with these boys, how many photo ops they go through and how exhausted they are by the end of the con, well... I don't really blame him if he didn't or couldn't take any pictures, or if he wanted to or not. Not only that, but he just became a dad not long ago! He was probably feeling homesick, missing his wife and son being all the way in Rome and them all the way back here in the US or Canada, wherever they're currently residing.

Inconvenient and annoying for asking for a picture? if Jared says No, for the picture is ok, he can say No to every fan and is Ok, nobody is forced to give autographs, but what I don't understand is why you say she was cornering them or being annoying for asking for a picture, and why you are being mean to the girl and make fun of her because Jared said No to her.

Well this is turning into a war - so I'll just say that MY opinion is that Jared was off-hand and rude. It is his decision and his right to say no to a photo, but I'll repeat the WAY HE DID IT wasn't very nice. This is not Jared acting like Jared, and I am sad to see him being this way. I'm not just basing this on one video where he was 'tired' (as were the others I bet), but a lot of things I've seen and heard and just his general manner lately. I'm done now, can do without fandom wars!

I don't have a problem with the girls asking the guys for a photo cause the guys have an option of saying no. What I do have a problem with is someone just hugging a complete stranger without asking them first. Would you walk up to a stranger and just hug them? Probably not! I also don't have a problem with Jared saying no to a photo with a fan. After a long flight/day, missing his wife and newborn son and looking extremely tired like he did there I can't blame him for saying no. I would too!!

Jared's a great person, what do u know. When I asked him for a hug he hugged me right away but he HAS the right to say no. We give him and the other actors support and they give us back good ACTING in a show we love, they don't belong to us! They're all nice people, Jay's so kind! 1 time Jared says no and he's a bad man. How would yo feel if you were surrounded by hundreds of fans every day and EVERYONE of them lunged themselves at you constantly? This actually reminded me of the Flying Fangirl incident. When it comes to Jensen, if you're planning on invading his personal space, you should ALWAYS ask first. Because he's just not comfortable with that. Now Jared, funnily enough, hugs people more freely. But that doesn't mean he HAS to hug everyone who asks. Maybe he was in a hurry, tired, jet lagged, had a headache... Hell, maybe he was just sweaty and all he wanted was a shower. Idk. But whatever the reason, he's allowed to say no.

I totally agree with you, Kristal. I met them last year at ChiCon and I never acted this way at all. I was very polite to Jared when I had my photo op with him and I kindly asked him for a hug for my photo op. I didn't just launch myself onto him even though I was thrilled and my heart was racing from getting to meet him. I was also very polite to Jensen as well and he even struck up a small conversation with me during autographs if that tells you anything at all. Respect, people! Learn it.

That is totally what it comes down to, respect, and whether this fan meant to or not, she showed zero respect. I've met the guys on several occasions. They are friendly and warm and incredibly gracious and in response I am polite and never assume anything. They are human beings. Some fans forget that. I understand the excitement but we're not entitled to photos with them on the street, we're not entitled to hugs. If they're bailed up like this, they've every right to say no in any way they want.

It's one thing to casually run into them in the streets - we all know we would take a picture if something like that happened; it's another thing if you stalk them a/o run into them on purpose.
And there are ways and times to ask for a photo. This wasn't one of them.

We all know you don't like Jared Vicky. So anything he does is wrong. He was not rude, dismissive perhaps but not rude. The girl was rude to launch herself at Jensen. If you pay attention the other guys looked like they were trying to get away from her as fast as possible.

I never jumped them or anything.I paid 80 euros for a photo with Jared and the same for Jensen, I asked Jay for a hug and I got it (the rule there was:NO hugs) and knowing Jensen was shy and he wasn't like Jay about personal space, I asked him for the blue still even if I would've wanted a hug. I'm just saying, nobody's jealous but you clearly have to realize that they're not objects, they're human beings and we don't own them. The fact that we support them is because we love what they're doing.

Gotta admit I'm really disappointed in Jared and the way he responded to this fan. He was very dismissive, unfriendly and cold. Good for Jensen and Sebastian who took the time for their fans, even though they were tired and seemed surprised.... Jensen is my favorite out of the J2 anyway.

There was a report the next day of a fan who met Jared on the plane and she had a nice conversation with him and got a photo. Lets see you go all weekend with having to have photos taken with people and autographs. Then afterwards go to the hotel where you'd probably like to take a breather and see how you'd act. Sorry the girls were stalking the hotel not cool. Then she launched herself at Jensen again not cool. He acted a lot better than I would have.

I'm not trying to be rude but wouldn't it have been more considerate to ask for a hug instead of launching yourself at him? I don't think Jared was being rude either, they all seem like they're in a hurry. Like everyone else said they're all human and they just spent a whole weekend taking photos and doing autographs for the fans. They deserve a break and to not be treated like that.. Just my opinion.

I hate this video. Jensen looks so awkward and that hug was a bloody lunge. Totally inappropriate. He's a human being give his personal space some consideration & Jared looks even more awkward. Poor bastard. I hate that they're put on the spot like that. Those girls are standing outside the van stalking Yuck. Get some pride. If people are bagging out Jared for this, then they are not fans and have no real love for him, just for their selfish wants. I really hate this video. I'm ashamed of them.

I was at the con, and I saw a lot of inappropriate behaviours. Poor guys just have to be there like puppets and smile at the camera while trying to not scream. Because no one treats them as persons. They think they own them.
News flash: YOU DON'T.

And Jared is usually such a happy guy, being away from his new family and the jet lag was probably all a little crazy! He was polite about refusing the photo and carried on. As it mentioned by others, these guys have no obligation to take photos with anyone, and were probably just tired and groggy from flights!

This is embarrassing behaviour for all us fans - they must have all been really tired, they'd put heart and soul into the convention and then to get accosted trying to get into their hotel like this is really not good. Giving them a wave and a hello would have been ok, but to rush in and hug them and get photos? That was just too much. And you can see how uncomfortable Jensen was, no wonder Jared said no.

It looks like Sebastian Roche is running interference so the rest of the guys can run past and get into the building - kudos to him for being more respectful than you and yours were to him and the cast. Please, people, use some common sense and know when it is appropriate to approach someone in the entertainment industry whose work you admire - as well as *how* to approach them in a way that does not trigger memories of the Flying Fangirl incident.

Poor guys. Ambushed outside of their hotel. I think Jensen was pretty nice about it, even though he was obviously off guard and uncomfortable - and Jared was perfectly polite, even if he did say no. He has every right to, celebs have no obligation to drop everything and hug us and talk to us whenever we want. How would you feel if you were getting in from travelling and someone found you outside of your hotel, stuck a camera in your face and demanded pictures and a hug?

Oh and by the way, I've read a fan report from this convention where she was told not to hug Jared, but Jared didn't listen and hugged her. So it's not about him being a bad guy. He's a vey genuine and sweet guy. Just - everyone can't be at the top of their game at all times.

I think it's unfair to certain people get mad at him for that stupid reason and if I were in his place and I was tired, I'm sorry but I would not take picture too. Well, what matters is that you're a lucky girl to have a pic with Jensen, I'm Jealous *-* lol. But next time try not hug him without asking permission first because Jensen or nobody likes to get hugs unexpected from strangers and I'm not criticizing in any way, I'm just giving you some advice

I don't think it's weird Jared said no. People pay a lot for the photo ops at convention. Some of them might feel it's not right to take photos with the fans outside. Also people pay a lot for photo ops at these cons - at some cons it's not even allowed to take photos outside the con with the stars because of it.

Also, considering how much money people pay to get photo ops done with these boys, how many photo ops they go through and how exhausted they are by the end of the con, well... I don't really blame him if he didn't or couldn't take any pictures, or if he wanted to or not. Not only that, but he just became a dad not long ago! He was probably feeling homesick, missing his wife and son being all the way in Rome and them all the way back here in the US or Canada, wherever they're currently residing.

Inconvenient and annoying for asking for a picture? if Jared says No, for the picture is ok, he can say No to every fan and is Ok, nobody is forced to give autographs, but what I don't understand is why you say she was cornering them or being annoying for asking for a picture, and why you are being mean to the girl and make fun of her because Jared said No to her.

Non si è mai visto Jared che ignora. L'ho incontrato a Trastevere, mi ha abbracciata come non mai.
Ho incontrato anche Jensen e Danneel proprio a p.zza della Repubblica e sono stata mezz'ora a parlare con loro, Danneel mi ha abbracciata non so quante volte,Jensen con me scherzava. Bellissima la reazione di Jens dopo l'abbraccio, proprio da pentito!
Se fossi stata in uno degli attori vi avrei mandato a quel paese...
