Oh wow...this seriously could've happened to me. When I was in 6th grade, I rode the bus to school every morning, & one morning we were running a bit late, & when the bus driver stopped at some railroad tracks just as the two bars were going down to indicate an oncoming train, he told some kids to hop out & pull up the bars to let the bus quickly go across the tracks!

We made it safely across, but only moments later, a train came bounding over the tracks behind us.

My intention is not to take the fun out of this bit of local folklore, but it appalls me to see a Texas Ranger speak with authority about an accident at that spot that did not occur. The accident that happened in the 40's actually occurred in another state in 1938.

As for going uphill...that is merely an illusion. This has been confirmed many times by civil engineers well trained and experienced in topographical grades.

this ghost track myth is just a myth. watched a studied where ghost hunters went to this exact location and debunked this story. they also went further and researched the story and there was never a school bus full of kids that died there in san antonio when a train hit the bus. the actual location happened in utah.

This has even been proven wrong. It's not uphill, its a 60 cm drop, the "fingerprints" doesnt come from children.

Something that's even more lol is that this happned in another state, not in San Antonio.

Its real, but it isnt ghosts. Its a downhill, but its looks like a uphill. And the fingerprints its on the car for many years. I saw it at Discovery Channel If you lay down a water bottle, it will roll "up"

This reinactment is crap they combined a steam whistle with a diesel engine sound and bell. Oh and yeah a car's trunk is gonna have fingerprints. People touch it all the frickin time. There would have been a big investigation to an accident like that. Are there really no newspaper articles or people who actually remember that accident??

magnetic fields, ive seen it in Brazil in some places,cars would go uphill much further then this and there were no acident stories previously.

the finger prints are their own .also magnetic fields are known to facilitate natural human unconscious abilities as teleckinesis,thelepathy ,etc.

Ok I got something to say! Why do people turn off their cars and leave it on Neutral? If there really are children, why not put the fucking car on Park and turn it off? No need for powder. If I turn off my car while being on P and the car starts moving by itself then I would believe it without a doubt.

Dude you ain't listening. Go outside your driveway and move your parked car, Guess What? It WILL move, maybe not as much but it will definately bounce and lunge forward. That's my point! If I go over there and turn off my car, and the little children start pushing it, then i should feel the car rocking back and forth. No need to put it in Neutral and no need for all that powder bullshit! I just might go, I live over here in Houston, it's a 3hr drive!

If they had put cross arms that come down when a train approaches, those children wouldn't have had to die.

and-

If the bus driver had just stopped before crossing this would have never happened.

Because they had no warning, those children lost their lives.

Who's to blame for this. The railroad company that operates those tracks as well as the national transportation and safety board should have put some sort of warning.

I don't think they had cross arms in those days... This supossedly happened in the late 30's or early 40's. I live in SA and been at the ghost tracks many times. It really does work. Once I and a friend washed our car and did it. we saw nothing on our car...until we got home! We saw jean-prints and Converse sneaker prints all on the back of the car. creepy.

Эта история – чистая правда. Об этом столько по телевизору говорили – а я её слышал по одному калифорнийскому каналу, в Лос-Анджелесе. Всё началось с того, что на железнодорожном переезде в Техасе, в Сан-Антонио, застрял школьный автобус, битком набитый детьми. В это время как раз подходил поезд, и ехал на такой скорости, что не успел затормозить. Поезд столкнулся с автобусом, и все дети погибли. Это была ужасная трагедия. Железная дорога проходит в низине, но сам переезд расположен на небольшой насыпи, что-то вроде холмика.
И вот, если остановить машину точно посередине и поставить на тормоз, она вдруг медленно-медленно, сама по себе начинает подниматься вверх по холму до самого края.
Местная телекомпания послала туда съёмочную группу, чтобы всё проверить, и они сняли происходящее на плёнку. Шериф Сан-Антонио тоже присутствовал. Перед тем, как провести тест, с бампера автомобиля удалили все отпечатки пальцев, а после окончания эксперимента – проверили. И обнаружили несколько отпечатков маленьких рук и пальцев, как будто маленькие дети сталкивали машину с переезда.
Говорят, правда, что это всего лишь аномалия земного притяжения заставляет автомобиль двигаться. Но никто до сих пор не может объяснить, откуда взялись отпечатки...
