The ladies people have spoken. After cruelly putting Jared Padalecki up against his Supernatural costar, only one hunter remains: Jensen Ackles, the 2009 Alpha Male Madness champion. And Darren Criss was just dreamy enough to outlast Castle's Nathan Fillion to make it to the final round.

But who is man enough to win it all? Will it be the Glee guy who sang and danced his way to the top? Or the Supernatural stud whose chiseled face could cut glass? As always, that decision is entirely up to all of you. You can play this song to help set the mood, if you wish. It's Darren vs. Jensen for the Alpha Male title...

He's a musician with a degree in acting and an overall nice, down-to-earth young man. Don't give me the silly, prejudicial 'he's from Glee' excuse, that makes YOU childish and NOT him OR the show. Honestly people, stop with the "real man" thing. It's utterly ridiculous to claim that everyone who doesn't fall under certain stereotype is somehow less of a 'real' man. Darren Criss is a talented actor and musician (and judging by interviews, a charming and clever person as well), and the way he supports the LGBT community is wonderful * he's truly someone to look up to. He portrays a confident gay teen in Glee, and characters like Blaine mean a lot to people struggling with their sexuality.

I just don't see why you have to disrespect Darren so much? The only excuse you have is that he is from Glee and that he's 24, meaning he's younger than Jensen. That doesn't stop the fact he's extremely talented, charming, a nice guy and even very good looking. Why wouldn't he deserve this title as much as Jensen does? Yes, he is young, but, excuse me, Jensen wasn't even close to accomplishing as much as Darren did at such a young age. Yes, he achieved all of that later, and he deserves respect, but why can't Darren get the same treatment as well? Do some research on the guy before you act like kids and go bashing him for no other reason than simply 'liking Jensen more' or 'finding him more hot and manly'.

Oh, come on. I'm not gonna dispute your opinions (even if some of them are really... silly imo), but why would they manipulate the vote? Do you know how many fans Glee and Darren have? I absolutely love Jensen, but I'm tempted to vote for Darren simply because so many Jensen fans are being so nasty. I think Darren (Blaine) deserves to be the Alpha Male just as much as Jensen. None of this he doesn't deserve it because "he doesn't look like a real man" or because he's from Glee. They're both talented actors and equally deserving of getting this far.

She was just trying to say how it's unfair to portray Darren as a person of a lesser value in looks and talent if he's up against someone as well known and admired for such a long time as Jensen. I myself respect them both, as actors and as people, but my vote still goes to Darren for the reasons Paavo, Sam, Aurora and I have already stated. Don't get upset.

I don't find it respectful to address someone as "some guy". And if you had read comment #12, you would have seen that I asked for people to play nice towards Darren in the first place. I do think a gay person can be Alpha but I also happen to think that this poll is about actors and not characters, as you see the actors' names in the poll, not their characters' names so I find it a little weird to make the poll all about LGBT.

I'm not a "kiddie." I'm nearly 44. I enjoy the show "Supernatural" and like both Jensen and Jared just fine. They are good actors and not too shabby to look at. I am unfamiliar with Nathan Fillion's current TV series but I did really like him in both "Buffy" and "Dr. Horrible." I find the comments from some of the so called "fans" of these actors to be obnoxious and immature particularly in their apparent need to insult Darren Criss. It's ironic how they wish to dismiss us "Glee" and Darren Criss fans as "kiddies." Darren is a very talented young man: a newcomer who has only begun to show his light to the world. And yes, a man can be a "real man" without playing an action hero. A man can be an "alpha male"/a LEADER without cutting off monsters' heads. And a kissing someone can be a braver, stronger action than punching someone in the face.

I like Glee, I really do, but SN is the only show that I do not miss. We are voting for characters here, not actors so it makes no difference if Darren has an acting degree and Jensen doesn't. It makes no difference that Darren is a good singer (actually, Jensen is a very good singer who in his off time sings in a band). I am disappointed in the remarks being made against Darren though because he portrays a gay person. While I admire his characters leadership skills, I just can't put glee club leadership skills ahead of a person (character in the show) who puts his very life on the line to protect and save perfect strangers and has been doing so since he was a child. While I don't care for some of the nasty comments, my vote still goes to Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles).

@Arweniel...I voted in this poll the last time they had it and it was the characters we were voting for, plus at the very beginning of this one they continually refer to the characters the actors portray, asking which 'character' do you believe is the most alpha male. That makes it pretty clear to me that its the character the actor portrays, not the actor himself. Doesn't really matter to me, I'd still vote for Jensen/Dean. I've met him and he is a very nice, humble person. He also stands up for those he cares about, as characterized by an incident that happened to Jared Padalecki (Sam Winchester) at a Supernatural convention. He is incredibly talented in acting and singing and has been around since before he was in his twenties. So, either way, he is an alpha male.

@j2...I agree, we are voting for the characters, not the actors. Who do we tune in to see every week? We check in to see what song Blaine is going to sing, or which monster Dean is going to save the innocent civilian from. Yes, we love the actors who play these awesome guys, but its the awesome guys they portray that we are tuning in each week just to see what will happen next. So, that being said, I'm voting for Dean Winchester...he and his brother Sam Winchester have been putting their lives on the line since they were kids and both have died for each other (and come back because hey...it's Supernatural). But, the show isn't just about killing monsters...blood, guts and gore. In fact, it's more about the relationship between two brothers and the lengths they'll go to to protect each other. 'Nuff said.

I still don't agree and I still believe that if this was about the characters then there would be the characters' names mentioned in the poll itself, not the actors' names. You don't see Dean Winchester in the poll, you see Jensen Ackles * Supernatural ** And SN also isn't the only thing Jensen has done so I find it a little weird to judge only according to one character. Can everyone stop harping on this "alpha male" nonsense? They gave this poll a stupid, gimmicky title for the sole purpose of communicating that only one guy will win, making him "alpha." It's not literal. This is still just a bunch of people voting for who they like best. THAT'S ALL THIS IS. They do not literally mean "which one would be top dog in the hierarchy of a pack of wolves." There's no need to be spiteful and cruel and cast aspersions about cheating and rigged polls. Being a fan of both shows, I can honestly say that Gleeks come just as hard as SPN fans. Darren plays one half of Glee's most popular OTP and just as the SPN fandom comes out of the woodwork to vote on any poll big or small in support of Jared and Jensen so do Glee fans. Both guys seem very down-to-earth and I think they would disappointed by this outpouring of hate when this poll is about showing love for our favorite guys.

I'm voting Darren, mainly for the fact that SPN fans can't seem to accept Darren as competition (and yet it's practically a tie- and no, it's not fixed; Darren is just wonderful and has a lot of fans.) Last year, the True Blood fans went batsh*t when Alexander Skarsgård was losing against Jensen Ackles and accused eonline of manipulating the polls and this time it's the SPN fans who are doing that because Darren Criss is doing well against Jensen. Give it up guys! SPN and Glee both have huge fanbases. I should know as I'm in both and I think both Jensen and Darren deserve this title. "Alpha Male" isn't just about physical strength anymore. In this day and age it means a leader. Someone people can look up to, for various reasons. Someone people listen to and who can make people listen. Both Jensen and Darren fall into this category. I've decided not to vote in this final round as I couldn't choose between these two. Both Alpha Males in their own right. Very happy with the last two standing!

I personally think that means you should vote for the character, what's confusing about it is that Eonline indeed doesn't mention the character's names, only the actors. So, i voted for character and for me that is Dean Winchester, so Jensen Ackles. When you say Alpha and name Blaine and Dean, to me it is obviously (to me) Dean. Btw, can i just say that a huge part of the SPN fandom still is polite, nice, friendly * united? No one ever gives an Oscar to someone new only because Tom Hanks has already won. this is just my own opinion: I think most people only vote for Jensen because he's just "hot", and I do agree that he is, and so is Darren! But I didn't vote for Darren because of how he looks. I voted for him because he (and his character Blaine) is one of those people I REALLY look up to. To me, Darren taught us to not be afraid of being who we are, and that's what a REAL man is supposed to be. Not because they're "hot" or because of their body. Arguments are invalid.
