"SUPERNATURAL" on The CW This summer Season 6 RERUN Every FRIDAY 9:00-10:00 p.m. ET ●▬▬▬▬▬▬▬SUPERNATURAL▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬●
●⇨ Catch up with SEASON 6 Returning for its seventh season, this haunting series follows Sam and Dean Winchester, two brothers bound by tragedy and blood to the one thing that runs through both their veins - hunting monsters. This past season, Dean and Sam faced insurmountable obstacles: Sam returned from Hell without his soul, and Dean risked everything to get it back for him. The power struggle between good and evil raged on, with the new King of Hell, Crowley, ultimately emerging as their adversary. Shockingly, Crowley had made a secret deal with Sam and Dean's closest friend, the angel Castiel, who is now a desperate freedom fighter on the losing side of a post-Apocalyptic civil war in Heaven; together, the uneasy allies sought to open a door to Purgatory, where a great untapped well of souls lie waiting to be used as the ultimate form of military power. Sam and Dean reeled from the betrayal by their friend - and raced to stop the angel and demon before they opened that dangerous, otherworldly door.
●⇨ Preview for SEASON 7 Now, in season seven, the Winchesters will find themselves in an increasingly sinister, changing landscape, up against a new foe unlike anything they've ever fought. They'll find their old tricks, weapons and hiding places all rendered useless. All they'll have is each other. And the certainty that, like the last of the cowboy outlaws, whatever they face, they're not going down without a fight.
The series stars Jared Padalecki as Sam Winchester, Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester and Misha Collins as Castiel. SUPERNATURAL is from Warner Bros. Television in association with Wonderland Sound and Vision, with executive producers McG ("Charlie's Angels," "The O.C."), Robert Singer (Midnight Caller), Sera Gamble and Phil Sgriccia. Jensen was so sweet. The whole soap world is so hard. The hours [are long] and they shoot so quickly. I got that sсript that morning. It was one of the craziest things I ever did. But it was dipping my toe into the deep end. I did it because Jensen is such a good friend.

LeAnn Rimes is not a diva -- she just plays one on TV.
This Sunday, the singer/actress will guest star on the season premiere of the Lifetime series 'Drop Dead Diva,' which stars Brooke Elliott whose model character (Deb) was plopped into the body of a savvy lawyer named Jane. Hiliarty, songs and guest stars continue as the show celebrates season 3.
Rimes will play the ex-wife of a movie star accused of hit and run. Is the show capitalizing on her off-screen life with new hubby Eddie Cibrian, star of the NBC fall series 'The Playboy Club?' Maybe. But the important thing is that Rimes is walking into the role hoping to poke fun at all the perceived drama that has surrounded her life.
AOL TV spoke to the actress about why she took on this particular role, how she and Cibrian handle being written about in the tabloids, her first gig with 'Supernatural' hunk Jensen Ackles and much more.
You've been doing more acting than singing lately. Yes. 'Drop Dead Diva' asked me to do an episode last year. The character they offered me the first time is the complete opposite of this one. I loved it. But the timing wasn't right. We waited for next season. They wrote this character specifically for me, hoping I'd do it. I loved it when I read it. The show's great, really funny. I love the message of the show. I love playing the scorned ex-wife of a TV star.
Are you careful not to take on roles from producers who might be trying to capitalize on your off-screen life? Completely. And I didn't feel that this was. This is very well written and there are enough differences between my life, what I've experienced and this woman [that I'm playing.] People don't normally see me in roles like this. They see me in love stories. To do this was really funny. During breaks people on set were like, "You play a bitch real well.' (Laughs) I said, "Thank you! That's a compliment."
What do you like about 'Diva?' It's great. The message of the show is that this aspiring model died and came back in someone else's body, who is heavier, not necessarily who she'd want to be. But she has this amazing heart and is this smart as a whip lawyer. We think body image is black and white, but we all come in so many different body shapes and sizes. I just love that that's on television -- that there's a real woman on television playing someone incredibly smart and successful. They break into song every once in a while. It's really fun and really well-written, too.
Did you sing in the episode? No. I do enjoy [non-singing roles.] I plan on staying away from singing roles as much as possible unless it's makes sense for the character to be doing it.
Hollywood tends to put people in boxes. Have you found it difficult to get producers to see you as an actress in non-singing roles? Yeah. That happened before, but as you prove you have talent [that changes.] My voice will always be my God-given first talent, but acting is a different way of expressing myself. I'm really enjoying it. I'm trying to find roles that are right for me and I'm enjoying them.
Do you and Eddie talk about acting? Yeah. He was on set with me a few times and he'd watch on the monitor. He'll say every once in a while, "Hey, try this" or "try that." It's always great having him around. But for the most part we let each other do what we do. (Laughs.) He gives me singing tips most of the time, which is even worse. (Note: Cibrian sang in a boy band called '3Deep.') I've actually been working on acting since I was 15. This episode [of 'Diva'] is really good. I'm proud of it. And I'm my worst critic.
You did a one-day gig on 'Days of our Lives' opposite Jensen Ackles ('Supernatural') way back in 1998. Jensen was so sweet. The whole soap world is so hard. The hours [are long] and they shoot so quickly. I got that sсript that morning. It was one of the craziest things I ever did. But it was dipping my toe into the deep end. I did it because Jensen is such a good friend.
The NBC Salt Lake City affiliate doesn't want to air Eddie's new series 'The Playboy Club.' No. I think the best quote was from NBC when [executives there] said they'll find some other station to carry it. It's such an iconic brand. It captures that era. They really recreated The Playboy Club itself and the hair, makeup and styling. It's all pretty genius.
There was a report recently about Tori Spelling having an accident after being chased by photographers. It's definitely out of control. They hide in the weirdest places. Eddie has two children. When my step-kids are with me, I get very protective. We can get bombarded. If we ignore it, then the kids ignore it. I saw what happened to Tori. I felt so badly for her. You can get so freaked out when [the pararazzi] is following you, you don't know what you're doing. Hopefully, they'll back off.
What do you want people to take away knowing about you after watching your gig on 'Diva?' People will either go "Oh, my God, I can't believe she did that" in a negative way or they'll say, "Oh, my God, it's hilarious!" After all she's been through, she played that role! There are so many lies that have been told about Eddie and me. It's just ridiculous. You go through phases where you can't believe people are doing this and being mean and hurtful. And then you have phases were you just laugh at it because it's so outlandish. That's the place that I've come to. People may think I'm an incredibly serious person but I have this really wicked, sick sense of humor. I think the way you see I play the role [will show that.] You've got to laugh at yourself and your life. You can't take everything so seriously.

Jensen Ackles Talks About His First Kiss & Other Things
Posted by taylor blue on January 16, 2009 читать дальшеSince My Bloody Valentine 3D is opening in theaters I thought I would celebrate by posting this cute interview by Parade. They ask Jensen Ackles about filming horror movies, his first kiss and Texas. Here are some highlights...
Q: There’s a lot of in-your-face violence, not to mention blood and gore, spurting off the screen in 3D. Is it a good thing for the audience to be ducking body parts? A: I would say it gets a little ugly. But it wouldn’t be a good old-fashioned slasher movie if it didn’t. We tried to push the envelope a little bit and have things flying right at you. But that’s what makes it a fun ride. It’s definitely cooler and more frightening in 3D.
Q: A lot of the scariest scenes are in an abandoned mine that looks chillingly spooky. A: It was literally chilling. It was warm outside but you’d go down in the mine and it would drop 20 degrees. It was creepy because it was dark and the only way out was behind you. We had bats hanging above us but they didn’t wake up, at least while I was around.
Q: After doing Supernatural and a horror flick, do you ever wonder whether ghosts are actually out there? A: I think after doing the show I’ve got this false sense of confidence that I know how to handle strange phenomena, which probably isn’t a good thing. Actually, more than believing in ghosts, I’m superstitious. I’ll knock on wood, and I had a lucky hat that I’d always wear when I played basketball.
Q: You’ve had your share of romantic scenes. Do you remember your first on-screen kiss? A: It was my screen test for Days of Our Lives. I had to kiss Christie Clark during the audition. Ironically, I ended up playing her brother on the show. Anyway, Christie said I did a good job, and I did get the part.
Q: Do you remember your first real-life kiss? A: I was in 7th grade, and it was at a Christmas dance. They were playing the very last songand I went in for the kill. And this girl broke up with me the next day. I don’t know what it was.Maybe I went too far.
Q: Have you learned any secrets about locking lips? A: Go for the mints and minty gum, which they have available before the scene. On Days of Our Lives it was Binaca that we’d be spritzing with before we kissed. Actually,it’s all very organized and you have to remember the choreography, not to mention your lines. The feelings that you get when you actually kiss somebody are totally different than what you put on the screen.
Q: You grew up in Texas, but you left your accent behind. A: It can come back every now and again. Every so often I’ll get caught saying a word with atinge of the Lone Star State. When I go back home and hang around my family it pops out but notnearly as much as George W.
Q: Did you leave your boots behind? A: I don’t wear them anymore, but I’d be lying if I didn’t say I had a pair in my closet.
Q: You came to L.A. right out of high school to become an actor. What have you learned along the way? A: I was so young, an 18-year-old wide-eyed teenager from Texas who didn’t really have his ways set yet. Since then I’ve learned that Hollywood is not a corporate ladder that you can climb to the top. It’s such an unpredictable business that you’ve just got to keep pressing and stay focused. I’m a roll-with-the-punches kind of guy but feel like I’m making progress.
Jensen just keeps on blowing me away with his interviews. He is one of the most down to earth guys I know. When Jensen first appeared in Days Of Our Lives it was when I really started liking him. I’m glad I can still see him on TV still after all these years.

bentleywright.wordpress.com/2010/11/10/william-... читать дальшеBorn in 1939 in Memphis, Tennessee, and raised on his family’s cotton plantation in Mississippi, William Eggleston held a casual interest in photography until 1959, when he came across photo books by Henri Cartier-Bresson and Walker Evans. Among his earliest pictures, made during stints at universities in Tennessee and Mississippi, were black-and-white scenes found in his native South, as well as portraits of friends and family members.
By the 1960s and early 1970s he had begun experimenting with color film, and he eventually produced rich, vivid prints through the dye transfer process – prints that are created through the alignment of three separate matrices (cyan, magenta, and yellow) generated from three separate negatives (red, green, and blue filters). The resulting prints are known for the vividness and permanence of their colors. Hence, Eggleston is often credited for single-handedly ushering in the era of color art photography.
Eager to show his work to a broader audience, Eggleston traveled to New York with a suitcase of slides and prints to meet with Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) curator John Szarkowski. This visit eventually yielded a controversial but revolutionary exhibition in 1976 – MoMA’s first solo show to feature color photographs – and a classic accompanying book, William Eggleston’s Guide. At this point in his career, Eggleston had already distinguished himself by treating color as a means of discovery and expression, and as a way to highlight aspects of life hidden in plain sight.

читать дальшеThe first (and hopefully not the last) Jensen Ackles and Steve Carlson jam session was a highlight of the Nashville con, for the chance to hear the way the two harmonize live, and to feel a bit like you’re sitting around their living room listening to their banter. Jensen was less nervous than he was playing with Jason a few months ago, though fans definitely didn’t mind his first time jitters that time anyway.
Steve shared the backstory to how the two friends ended up playing together, and even doing some recording. Whenever they were both in town they’d get together at Steve’s house and the guitars would come out. Apparently wherever Steve is living, something gets turned into a makeshift studio – when Jensen and Steve lived together, it was the hall closet, wired up and soundproofed with foam, and probably looking very …. Interesting. In Steve’s place before that, it was the garden shed, similarly outfitted but alas, sans air conditioning. Steve would lure friends out to record there and they’d emerge sweat-soaked and bedraggled, asking plaintively, “was that okay?”
Backstory established, they kicked off the jam session with a fan favorite, “Wasted Jamie”.
“Why didn’t you all sing along?” Jensen asked incredulously afterwards. Pretty sure Steve gave him a look like, really, I think maybe they’re not here to listen to each other sing. Pretty sure Steve was right.
Before they started the next song, Steve told us that he and Jensen had actually never played it together. They were hanging out a few days ago doing a bit of preparation for this jam session (with a few more beers than were currently on the table between them….) and thought, why not do this one?
After some disputes about who needed to see the ipad on the table between them with the lyrics, they played a beautiful rendition of “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door”, full of emotion.
Jensen was playing Jason’s guitar (which Jason carefully watched over from the back of the room), and mentioned how much he’d learned from watching his musician friends play, sometimes wishing he had binoculars to watch their hands. Steve laughed that all musicians do that, and that he and Jensen weren’t so different.
They then played the very first song Jensen learned to play, “If I Had a Million”, after alluding to a backstory that Jensen insists nobody knows but him and Steve and apparently nobody ever will.
Fans: Damn!
When Jensen and Steve had a house together, Jensen picked up a guitar one day and started playing it. Steve ended up playing mandolin and they actually recorded it, though the recording will remain safely hidden away, alas. Apparently their shared house was quite the creative eclectic place, cameras and film stuff everywhere for Jensen and guitars and music stuff everywhere for Steve, a Hitchcock book on the coffee table next to a Beatles book.
Steve: (accusingly) You spilled wax all over that.
Jensen: (eyeroll) I know. I’ll owe you forever.
Fans: Awwww.
The first song Steve and Jensen actually wrote together was “Love You Or Leave You”, which they played next. Steve commented that he loved the lyrics that Jensen wrote for it.
Jensen: Umm….we haven’t played it in so long, I’m not sure I remember them.
He asked the fans to excuse the mistakes. And then didn’t make any.
Jensen also apologized for playing a few repeats from his jam session with Jason, until Steve reminded him that’s exactly what musicians do!
Next Jensen introduced one of his favorite songs, one that’s very therapeutic for him, and said he loves the lyrics. He belted out “Rock ‘n Roll Radio” with so much feeling, we were all pretty much rapt. Seems he’s as good at conveying emotion when he’s singing as when he’s acting.
Next up was the song that Jensen says is possibly his all time favorite, “Pinata Novia”.
Jensen: When Steve and I met and I heard his music, I just fell in love with it.
The next song was one that Steve heard and was very moved by. So moved that he texted his five best friends who are music lovers, one of them Jensen. At first, Jensen wasn’t that into it, felt he wasn’t in “the right headspace” and working too much on the show, but when he did listen a few months later, one night while he was cleaning up in his apartment after a long day, he suddenly got it. He immediately said I’ve gotta learn to play that, and listened to the one song the entire 2.5 hour flight back to LA that weekend.
Steve: Told ya so! When he didn’t respond right away I was like, ohmygosh, are you really that busy?
Jensen: I just had to find it on my own time….and ohmygod, I don’t even wanna play this song anymore, after this big build-up. Can we just play it?
Fans: LOL
“Colder Weather” was definitely not a disappointment.
The next song was one of our favorites. Jensen told us that the crew had asked (demanded?) that the cast and crew band, creatively called the Impalas, play a specific song – one that was perfect for the show. So they finally agreed, Steve figured out the guitar, and the song came together. We couldn’t help but imagine Dean as soon as Jensen sang “I was born, six gun in my hand….” Bad Company indeed. In a very good way.
The last song they saved until last for a reason – it was the first song they ever played together. Steve was working on it one day and Jensen came over and started singing harmony. So Steve threw him in the woodshed (aka studio) and that’s how they recorded “Come Around More Alabama”.
Steve: He thought he was coming over for a beer, and I threw him in the woodshed and put him to work! And now that’s one of the most requested songs on itunes, because of Mr Ackles’ popularity.
Jensen (interrupts): And your genius writing skills.
Fans: Awwwww.
Their rendition of the song was incredible, the harmonies spot on, everyone in the room pretty much riveted. Afterwards, Jensen gave a heartfelt thank you to the fans for their donations (proceeds in part going to charity).
Jensen: It’s humbling and gratifying to be around people who are so supportive. You guys are awesome.
As he and Steve got up to head out, Jensen stopped once again, and sounding a little choked up, shook his head and said, “Best fans in the world.”
We couldn’t agree more, but it goes both ways. Right back at ya, guys.
More of our chats with Brian Buckley, Matt Cohen, Richard Speight Jr. and Chad Lindberg from Nash-Vegas soon!
… И сексуальный (and sexy). А комментатор переспрашивает: дважды сексуальный (so, sexy twice?) Хохот в зале. Джаред: Это верно. (That’s right.) Дженсен: Ну, не знаю. … Оно слово, которое приходит мне на ум насчет себя – несовершенный (imperfect). Остальные слова буду искать. Зал хлопает. Джаред: Ты такой и есть, Дженсен. (You are, Jensen. You are.)

Has Jensen thought about writing?
Jensen: I’ve sat down with some friends a couple of times over the years and I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m just not good at conceptualization. Jensen and Jared and What Happens in Nash-Vegas! June 5, 2011 tags: Brian Buckley, Convention, Genevieve Cortese, Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles by spnfans
If you don’t know why everyone keeps calling this place Nash-Vegas, just Google the Gaylord Hotel Gen, Jared, Natalya, Brian, and Jensen in the green room after Brian's concert.
We unexpectedly ended the night with some fun time with Brian, Jared, Jensen and the gang in the green room. More from those chats shortly — for now, some highlights of Jared and Jensen’s semi-private Q and A’s (thanks to our fellow fan who was kind enough to report on Jared’s!)
Jared was looking quite dapper, though he credited Gen – who is now helping him buy his clothes (Thanks for this one, Gen!) Of course at Jared’s Q&A, the first question was about his brand new Twitter, which he said Sebastian Roche has been ‘working on him’ for a long time to get. (This probably explains why one of his first tweets was to Seb). We had the pleasure of talking to Jared’s lovely wife Gen last night and it seems she also encouraged him to join the Twitterati. They were both surprised to find out that not only was “Jared Padalecki” was taken – so was “Jared Padalecki1”, “Jared Padalecki2”…..
Jared was also hit with the question that nobody ever wants to be asked – “What was your most embarrassing middle school moment?”
No middle school moments, but he did share that when he was a high school freshman, he asked a girl out and she said no. That’s hard enough to believe, but the reason is even more unbelievable — because at the time he was 5’7” and 120lbs and constantly getting picked on. He may have gotten his revenge on many of them the following year when he suddenly measured 6’2”.
Jared also shared the story behind taking the moose picture tweeted earlier today. Not that an explanation is really necessary – who wouldn’t want their picture taken with a moose! Nevertheless those witnessing Jared’s impromptu photo op thought he was a bit odd. Jared didn’t mind and neither did the moose. As Jared said “The moose didn’t really fight back.”
Next up was Jensen, who started out talking about Jared. Apparently Jared called him last night to say “Hey! Let’s go out!”
Jensen reminded Jared they had to get up early in the morning to come to the con, and decided to stay in. This morning Jensen got up, had a nice breakfast with Danneel, went to the gym . . . As he was leaving, in comes Jared, looking a little sleepy.
Jensen: “You know we have to be at the con in forty minutes?”
Lynn observed: “That explains why we started a bit late.”
Jensen protests: “It wasn’t me!!”
A fan then asked the obvious question about the filming of “Frontierland”.
“Why didn’t you ride a horse?”
Jensen: “My thoughts exactly! I mean, Jared kinda knows how to ride, which they obviously played with, but I really do know how to ride and I was like, Throw me on a horse! Let’s have some fun here!”
Alas, it didn’t happen that time, but as Jensen said, now the boys know how to go back to the Old West, what’s to stop them from going back in the future?
A fan pointed out that Castiel wouldn’t be sending them back next time, to which Jensen replied, “Cas who?”
Fans: GASP!
Jensen then reminded us that Castiel wasn’t the only angel available to send them back — they still had Balthazar.
Fans: Wait, so Balthazar is alive?
Jensen: Spoiler alert! (Laughter!) No, I honestly don’t know. I haven’t seen a sсript or talked storylines yet.
They all hope Sebastian is coming back though, because he really fit in with the group up there. As Jensen said, “He was a good addition.”
Another fan asked whether there were any behind the scenes stories he hadn’t told about “Frontierland”.
Jensen: When I saw the outfit that they had pulled for me, I was very upset. I was like ‘Come on!’ This was before the production sсript had come out so I hadn’t read it yet – I just knew that we were doing a western. So Diane, our costume designer, started pulling things. She gets all excited when something like this comes up, because as you know Sam and Dean wear the same damn things all the time.
Fan: (innocently) What was wrong with the original costume?
Jensen: Wellllll…..It was a poncho. (Laughter) It was an Australian cowboy hat and I had GAP jeans on.
Fans: So where did Dean get the more authentic clothes that he wore later?
Jensen: (dryly) Why the General Store of course. And they happened to all fit him. It’s one of those liberties we take in television.
Jensen then went on to talk about how much fun the episode was to shoot and recommend that we all ask Guy Bee about it tomorrow. Duly noted.
He did tell one anecdote about the first day of filming.
Jensen: It was a beautiful day, and I was so excited – they had this town all westerned up. I was thrilled and excited. And then the next day it was just downpour rains, and we were slopping through the mud and I was like ‘This is definitely not as good as I wanted it to be.’
Another fan asked if Jensen was thinking of transitioning more into directing.
Jensen: No. I’m obviously more comfortable acting, but this was an opportunity. The producers showed great faith in letting me do it. It’s not something I set out to do, but I got bit by the bug. I wanted to try it out and now that I have, I want to explore as far as I can while I have the opportunity. And if that parlays itself into another opportunity, I’ll jump at it whole-heartedly.
Lynn: So since you’re directing a second time, is there anything you’re particularly looking forward to, or anything you’d do differently?
Jensen: There are things that I learned. I think two of the biggest things I can think of off the top of my head probably won’t mean a lot to you guys, but one of them is just the use of longer lenses that brings the frame of vision into a shorter span. So if I’m shooting a particular scene and I really want to draw the audience’s attention to this person then I’ll use a longer lens and it throws the background a little out of focus so that the attention of the audience is forced to go to this one person, whereas if you shoot with a wider lens there is a lot more in focus and the audience can get distracted by something in the background. I thought I did a fairly decent job with the frame size at least, but I think now I can get a little bit more creative. And the second thing is pace – as an actor I turn very much into an audience member when I’m watching somebody give a good performance. The scenes between Mark Shepard and Jim Beaver, there was a lot of dialog, and for me as a director I knew every peak, every word of that scene, so I’m hanging on every word, watching this performance. But as a general audience member it might feel a little slow. For some people who might not be as interested in the show it might not be nearly as captivating because the pace isn’t there. I think I didn’t notice it as a director because I was captivated (makes captivated face) –
Lynn: I think that’s how we all watched it too (makes identical captivated face). . . . So are you going to direct Jared this time?
Jensen: I don’t know.
Fans: *crossing fingers*
Has Jensen thought about writing?
Jensen: I’ve sat down with some friends a couple of times over the years and I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m just not good at conceptualization. I feel that I have a strength in fine tuning, taking a scene that’s already down and tweaking it to make it more realistic.
Fan: Way back in season two when John whispered in Dean’s ear, did you know what he said? Did the writers ever tell you?
Jensen: No. Because we shoot at such a rapid pace, and there’s no break between episodes, the writers are ahead of us – sometimes five scripts. There were times in Season One when I’d call Eric –
Jensen: So Eric, in this scene -
Eric: What scene?
Jensen: In this scene with Bobby –
Eric: What scene with Bobby?
Jensen: In episode 14 -
Eric: Wait. Hang on.
Jensen: (hears in the background) “Jennifer! Get me episode 14!!”
Eric: You know, I’ll just get back to you.
Jensen goes on to explain: So because of that ever evolving storyline, the writers just throw out scenes, possible roads we could travel down. Some really hit with the viewers once they’re produced and some just don’t have that reaction. So they’ll just go with the road that gets the biggest reaction. So there’s a lot of unanswered things that happen in television. That particular moment (that Dean might have to kill Sam) they did tell us. They had that one planned.
Jensen really is a fan of the show too –
Jensen: But a lot of times I don’t like to call and ask, I just like to find out when I read the sсript. I’ve been a fan of the show since season one, since the pilot episode. I love the story, I love the characters. So, in a sense I’d rather just read it. In fact, we had a guest star on the show once – the guy from Yellow Fever with the snake was a fan of the show and he refused to have the sсript sent to his house – he just wanted the scene so it wouldn’t spoil him watching that episode.
Now that’s a serious fan.
Another fan asked if he had trouble remembering the Latin. Sometimes he does. In fact, he says, Jared’s better since he took it in school. The Season Six finale had to be shot in bits and pieces because of that long string of Latin that Dean says to Lisa.
Jensen: I don’t even know what I’m saying. It’s just words. And the words don’t make sense.
Fans: Yeah, but it sounds so cool when you’re saying them.
Fan: Did he pattern Dean as a vampire off any other performance he’d seen?
Jensen: No. No. Are there any out there? (Laughter) Shows about vampires? That’s a good idea. Somebody ought to make that. Actually, and don’t throw anything at me – I’ve never seen an episode of Vampire Diaries, Twilight movie or book, or True Blood. It’s not that I’m boycotting them – I just don’t think I’m the target audience. Oh, wait – I’m on a show called Supernatural.
Fans: On the CW!
Jensen: I don’t get the whole “Oh, I’m so dark and troubled.” I’d rather watch the guys who beat the shit out of those guys – like Sam and Dean. No, to answer your question there was nothing I patterned it after. I think the last vampire movie I watched was Interview with the Vampire. So that was just whatever darkness there was that Jensen could come up with. (beat) That’s how scary I am.
Fan: Favorite book?
Jensen: I’ve got a couple going now. I actually haven’t finished a book in about five months. I gave a book to my dad and my brother in law as Christmas gifts called The Lone Survivor that I was riveted by. Most of the time that I have by myself I either try to catch up on reading my scripts, talking to Danneel or playing guitar. (deadpans) But at least I’m not in an alley doing heroin, so at least there’s that.
Fan: What did you think of the season finale?
Jensen: I thought Jared did a really good job.
Fan: (undeterred) But what did you think of the storyline?
Jensen: You mean where it ended? I don’t know. I mean I didn’t know last year either – it ended and I was like ”What now?”. I’m kind of in that same boat. My feelings about it are going to be determined by where it picks up. So I’ll have to answer that question in a couple of months.
Fan: What’s your favorite TV show. I know you don’t like Glee.
Jensen: I like Leverage, and not just because Chris is on it or Aldis. I actually really like Chris’s character – he and Dean would probably get along just fine. (Fanfiction alert!) I don’t watch a lot of TV. Danneel and I have actually started watching this show – it’s not a scripted show of course — called Oddities. It’s about an oddities shop in New York City called Obscura and it’s just about this couple who go around buying objects for this shop and the customers who come in who are truly bizarre people. Even in the promo, this guy comes in and he’s like (creepy voice here) “Is that a straightjacket?” It’s like an antiques shop, but a really kooky antiques shop – skulls, bones, old medical equipment. And I’m like, I could steal half the set dec and make a fortune! People will be like, I think I have something for your shop and they’ll pull out a pig with three heads and deformities in a glass jar in fluid and the guy’s like “Oh, I love it!”
Don’t be surprised when something Supernatural ends up on Oddities. Eyeball scooper, anyone?

Btw Does anyone know what Jared's first tweet was? They should reference it on the show like Sam should get Twitter account too and Dean should be like Uh what's twitter? lol! alexisrg7 12 hours ago

OMG Jared is on Twitter! I definitely must follow him now! But, i hope fans don't turn this into some silly contest over who can get the most followers, I'm sure Jensen fans want him to join too, he'll probably wait and see how it goes for Jared so if people are rude to Jared then they can count Jensen out. alexisrg7 12 hours ago

AWESOME!!!!!!!!! tinywinchester 15 hours ago
I think it's fricken awesome that Jared's got a twitter, but I'm a little worried. I love him to death, but there are some serious Dean and Jensen lovers out there as well as Genevieve haters, so I hope people are nice to him. He seems to be a bit naive when it comes to things like the internet and fan sites. ;P ashwinchester 16 hours ago
@ashwinchester Exactly what I was thinking! Hope he knows what he is potentially getting himself into...but really who could ever be mean to this guy, he is too damn lovable! bg222333 15 hours ago
@bg222333 I know! It'd be literally like hurting a puppy. He's just too cute and sweet, it would take someone with a seriously cold heart to hurt him, but...they do exist unfortunately. Let's just hope to God he doesn't meet them. ashwinchester 15 hours ago
@ashwinchester Hope dies at last but I think he will get bad tweets maybe he wont read them cause I think he got maybe always like a thousand tweets or so at a time ^^. But if he does than he needs to understand that there are people out there who doesnt like his decision with Gen or himself. He has to ignore these people and dont let that become an issue. Cause there are Fans out there (manymany more) that love him and respect him. DallasGuy91 11 hours ago
@DallasGuy91 I totally agree, and yeah maybe he'll ignore most tweets, since he's got over 40,000 followers now. XD And he's a big boy, he knows there are mean people out there and he take care of himself, but STILL..he's sensitive. I can get that just from interviews and conventions, that he wears his heart on his sleeve and listens to what people tell him. I just hope he doesn't take rude comments to heart. ashwinchester 11 hours ago
@ashwinchester I dont get these "haters" they ruin Fandom for everyone. I think we should watch out there a bit and if we see some really bad and insulting tweets that we just should report them so they get blocked or something. If they dont like his acting ok. Critcism is nothing bad. But you dont need to insult someone. Even if its just on the internet you should stay polite. And his private life is just that. Private. None of our business.
However I hope we get some inside scoop from the set DallasGuy91 11 hours ago
@DallasGuy91 Amen! I'd love to be able to have a conversation with him, and I watch and have feelings about the way he handles certain things and people, but I'd never judge him for it! For example, I don't agree with his love and support of PETA. But I understand, that it's not necessarily THAT charity he loves, it's any charity in general that helps and saves animals, so therefore, I don't think any less of him at all. His life is his life, no one elses. ashwinchester 10 hours ago
